Hi guys! Welcome to the grand opening of my website, SamanthaRue.com! I am so excited that you guys are here and that this is actually happening! 

Some of you may be new readers and some may be returning friends, I just want to welcome you and thank you for your support in this part of my journey. I wanted to give you a little background info about my blog and my journey so far and I also wanted to share with you the vision of my new blog and what you can expect. 

You probably came here and the first question in your mind was regarding the two words that are attached to my blog name, Bravery and Perfection. Below, I explain the meaning behind that and why it is so important to me. So grab a cup of coffee or tea, maybe a snack and lets chat!

Can we just take a minute here and realize how fast this year went by? This has been the most chaotic, busy, and growing year yet! I have truly grown so much this year, you can hear all about it in my Thank You 2016 post. This year was filled with self growth, lots of weddings, and new and exciting experiences. I cannot wait to see what 2017 has to offer and what I will make of it!

I always set unrealistic resolutions and never stick to them, like, eating healthy and working out. I did eat a lot healthier this year but I worked out a total of 4 times this year. (Working out just isn't my thing) Maybe this year I will be successful at it! I really do intend to have a healthier lifestyle this next year, along with other goals I am setting.

Guys, Christmas is less than a week away and I cannot even believe it! It is time to get those last minute present bought, wrapped, and put under the tree for everyone to see.

Ever since I have been old enough to purchase my own gifts and my own gift wrap, wrapping presents has become one of my favorite Christmas activities. I love to get a mug of hot coco, sit in my Christmas decorated room while watching one of my favorite Christmas movies, (this year it was The Holiday) and wrap my presents in new and cute ways! 

In last years Christmas Wrapping Post, I got amazing name tags from Celeste Clark and this year, I decided to do the same! I absolutely love her Christmas tags and will probably continue using them for as long as she makes them. This year, I decided to wrap my packages in brown paper again because I just love how they turn out, and I also wrapped some in red and white paper that says "May your days be merry and bright" that I got from Hobby Lobby. I decorated my gifts with White Cable Cord and black and grey yarn, also from Hobby Lobby.
