Tag posts have become some of my favorite blog posts to write, as well as read. I love the way that bloggers from all around can communicate and connect with one another through tag posts and I love answering the questions that come along with them.
I want to thank Hannah from Floraful for tagging me. Hannah is so sweet and her blog has become a new discovery of mine so go check her out! Let's get to the questions!
If you could have anyone in the world do your make-up who would it be?
That would have to be Amy Nadine, the makeup artist of Lauren Conrad. If you have read my last tag "The Liebster Award" you will know that Lauren Conrad is my beauty Inspiration. I think her makeup always looks flawless and I love the simplicity of Lauren's look. Even when she is all done up for a night out or an event she does't look too over the top.
What's your top make-up tip?
I guess this kind of goes with my answer for the first question. Simplicity says a lot. I used to be one of those girls who went all out with their makeup in high school and now looking back I ask myself "why was I trying so hard?" Now my look is foundation, concealer, blush, and mascara (most of the time) and I think showing your natural beauty is the best for everyday and when you have a special event that's a good time to get dolled up.
What's one skincare item you couldn't live without?
Wow that is a hard one. Right now I think it would be the Just Natural Acne Treatment. I recently tried this product and I am really, really loving it! This stuff really works and works fast. It is an oil treatment that you put on your troubled areas, I put it on all of my spots and it really makes them appear smaller, reduces redness and inflammation, and shrinks and clears your spots. I definitely could not live without it.
What are you the worst at when it comes to applying makeup?
Hmmm... I think that would have to be contour. I have gotten a lot better at it recently but for a while there I was doing it too dark and I just could not get the hang of it.
What's your biggest pet peeve when it comes to beauty?
Oh no I may get in trouble with this one but, false lashes for everyday use. Thats all I will say haha
What's your favorite makeup era?
My favorite decade for fashion, hair and beauty would have to be the 20's. I love the look from that time and wish I had an excuse to dress up for the 20's everyday.
What's your guilty pleasure product?
I don't really have a guilty pleasure beauty product. I am pretty good when it comes to saying no to something (most of the time to save money or because I am just good at talking myself out of needing it) ...Wow I need to live a little, I am pretty boring!
What's your "underdog" product?
The e.l.f. Acne Fighting Foundation. If you have been around for a while then you will know how much I have been raving about this foundation, it is part of my Current Favorites and I did a Product Review on it and I think people sometimes don't try e.l.f. products but I really like a lot of their makeup.
What's your favorite make-up product of 2015?
That has to be the OGX Hair Products. I discovered the shampoo and conditioner in 2015 and then realized how many different variations they have, as well as amazing ingredients!
