It has been so fun and flooding me with so many memories writing these wedding posts for you guys and I hope you are loving them just as much as I am! I wanted to dedicate this last post to all the amazing vendors I had but I really wanted to emphasize on my wedding planner who is not only a friend but AMAZING at what she does! Don't miss the much waited for wedding video at the end of the page too!

The Icehouse

We got so many questions about our venue and I did answer how we found it in my last wedding post but I will go into a little more detail here. Before I dated David and was just wondering if I even had feelings for him I saw this venue on Instagram from a blogger who got married there. She didn't mention what it was or where it was so I did some more digging and I found out that it was in Arizona which is coincidentally where David lived and where his family currently lives. I took it as a sign! When David and I were just barely dating we took a trip to visit his family and I wanted to see this venue just for fun... well we went and we both fell in love with it! It is honestly the venue of my dreams and the price was just right!

Jayme the amazing Venue Owner provided almost everything we needed. She has a whole basement full of vintage chairs, candle sticks, macrame, and so much more! We are very please with how everything turned out and we owe a huge thank you to Jayme! She worked so hard and made everything just the way we desired it!

We got all of our signage from Etsy shops and I couldn't have been happier with them! All of the signs and stands in the reception area are ones that my wedding planner, Lauren found and she did the calligraphy and her husband made the stands for them... when I am telling you she rocked, I REALLY mean it!

Our welcome sign and order of the day sign, I got from Rosalia from Simple Southern Crafts on Etsy and she was so easy to work with and went above and beyond for me!

For our Welcome Table below, we had a Bilingual bible for both sides of the family and friends to highlight their favorite verse and sign their name.

We really didn't have a HUGE need for florals because our venue supplied all of the Eucalyptus and even made our Arbor and Chandelier pieces so I needed to find a florist who would just do bouquets and boutonnières and let me tell you, that's harder than it seems. A lot of florists charge a minimum of $800 or higher but we did not need $800 worth of florals.

Our Florist was Haleigh and even though I only saw her for literally a split second the day of, she did amazing and brought my vision to fruition beautifully! You can follow along with her Instagram HERE or her website HERE

How amazing is this table and chair? The venue provided the table, chair, table runner, candle sticks and the champaign glasses are from Hobby Lobby

When it came to our dinnerware we didn't want to spend a lot... I mean you are already spending so much on everything else and rental companies charge so much for dinnerware and I didn't have high standards when it came down to it. I liked the concept of Bamboo plates but those can be expensive too! My sister in law Ruth actually told me about Palm plates, they look just like bamboo but, are cheaper! I got mine from Amazon along with our Wooden Cutlery and  Paper napkins that feel and look just like cloth! We had an amazing Taco Bar for the reception and it was the best Wedding Reception Dinner Idea especially with the palm plates because tacos aren't necessarily "fancy and classy" so our dinnerware didn't need to be too fancy either! If you are wondering what to put on your wedding reception tables and how to cut costs, maybe consider getting some palm and wooden dinnerware!

We also cut cost on our glasses and found a way to do cheap & unique wedding favors! I really fell in love with the idea of mix and match glasses but knew renting would be so expensive! I came up with the idea to go to a bunch of GoodWill's during the whole wedding planning process and collect pretty wine glasses. My amazing new sisters and David's mom offered to shop around for them and get them for us! The total cost to get around 200 glasses was around $150 and not only did we wash them out and use them for dinner, but everyone got to take theirs home with a little Thank You Tag that, again, my amazing wedding planner printed out and cut for me! I ended up LOVING how all of the mix and match glasses looked with our palm plates and still think it is such a unique look... we even lucked out on some beautiful crystal glasses!

Right when David and I decided we were going to get married a lot of his friends and family offered to make our food and desserts which is beyond sweet! Hispanics love to help! Our cake was made by one of the ladies who goes to church with David's family and our pies were made by David's Aunt Lety! How cute and perfect are they?!

This is one of our biggest God stories during our wedding planning process. We had just been engaged and I got a text from my friends older sister, Lauren. She had just gotten married maybe a month before. She talked about planning her wedding and having a passion for it and she wanted to use our wedding as her trial run to see if this was something she could do with her future. Like WHAT?! Lauren or (Lo) is one of those people that is just good at everything she does and so I knew that she would absolutely kill the wedding and I took her up on the deal! Lo helped with everything from picking out the flowers, ordering my signs, being there the day of, and endless meetings. I honestly don't know what the heck I would have done with out her. She was absolutely amazing and for sure could do this for a living! Lauren is so amazing at what she does, my sister has even hired her to plan her wedding that will be in March! I am so thankful to get closer to her and to see her ability and growth. I knew that I could leave everything in her hands and she would set everything up how I desired and envisioned and she did just that! She was the true rock star this day and probably took care of SOO much that I didn't even see. That's how you know you got a good wedding planner, when you know she will set it up how you would or even better and takes care of everything and doesn't show a sign of fear or panic! If you are in need of a wedding planner you need her and she is super reasonable too! you can find her information HERE

If there were two things that were most important to me about planning the wedding, it was to make sure we captured the day beautifully and I think we accomplished that thanks to our amazing Photographer, Lexi and our Videographer, Katey! These girls not only did an beautiful job, they were fun and easy to have around all day! That is very important when it comes to choosing your "crew"!
