Okay, I know it's been a while since i've been able to write a blog post but life has gotten increasingly busier at a very fast rate!

I did however want to write a blot post about my recent Micro-Blading experience! I have been getting asked so many great questions about my eyebrows and all that it entails to get them done and who did them, so to answer all of your questions, here is a blog post on it!

It's scary for me to even upload a picture so close and so large, so please don't mind my untamed eyebrows in the first shot but how amazing do they look in the second picture?!

Q&A (based on my experience and the lady I went to, Chloebrows)

1. What is Micro-Blading? - Betch said it best, "Microblading is a semi-permanent brow tattoo procedure that will change your life. ... Unlike a regular tattoo, microblading is a form of tattooing where a trained artist uses a handheld tool instead of a machine. They draw hairlike strokes to mimic what your brows would look like if they were fuller."

2. How much does it cost?  - $350 and that includes your 6 week touch up!

3. How long do they last? - 1-2 years

4. Does it hurt? - If you have had your eyebrows threaded before, you're in for a treat! Honestly, it hurts less to get your eyebrows Micro-Bladed!

5. How does the process work? - First she cleans off the makeup from your eyebrows and the surrounding area, she then waxes and cleans up your eyebrows, and then maps your face similar  to this...

After you are done being shaped she will make sure you are okay with them and once you give her the go ahead she will match your color (always asking your approval of cooler or warmer tones) and then she will start the process. First she will numb your eyebrows with a gel (this doesn't hurt) then she will start the first patch followed by 2 more rounds of numbing and blading (don't worry it's not as bad as it sounds!)

6. What does the Micro-Blading feel like? - So it sounds bad but it honestly is not at all! It's tiny little needles being dragged across your eyebrows but... the best way I can describe the feeling is that it feels like the plastic tip of a clicker pen scratching your eyebrow (sort of weird). After the 2nd patch of numbing gel, you wont even feel any pain at all!

7. How long does it take? - The first session takes about an hour and a half and the touch up session only takes about an hour- hour and fifteen minutes.

8. How long is the healing process? - 7-10 days.

9. What is the healing process like? - For 7 days, you can't get your eyebrows wet so that means makeup wipes and very careful and cautious showers. During the seven days, as you're healing, you need to put on Vitamin A & D Ointment that she will provide you with. Your eyebrows will scab up but try not to peel them, just let them heal.

Eyebrows at 5 days after second session

10. What do they look like after the 7 to 10 days? - So when you leave with them just being done they will look really dark but they do fade a little bit and the final look is very natural. Most people come to their touch up session wanting to go darker because of the way they fade.

11. How do you like your brows? - I am absolutely in love with them and think that Chloe does such an amazing job! I 100% encourage you to get them and think it is so worth it!
