My New Years Goal

Can we just take a minute here and realize how fast this year went by? This has been the most chaotic, busy, and growing year yet! I have truly grown so much this year, you can hear all about it in my Thank You 2016 post. This year was filled with self growth, lots of weddings, and new and exciting experiences. I cannot wait to see what 2017 has to offer and what I will make of it!

I always set unrealistic resolutions and never stick to them, like, eating healthy and working out. I did eat a lot healthier this year but I worked out a total of 4 times this year. (Working out just isn't my thing) Maybe this year I will be successful at it! I really do intend to have a healthier lifestyle this next year, along with other goals I am setting. 




1. Living A Healthier Life: Okay I know what you're thinking, but this year I am not setting any set in stone goals but over all I want to live a healthier lifestyle whether that is eating healthier, working out more, doing yoga, or whatever it may be. I watch a youtuber named Sara, her channel name is Sara's Day and she is all about health and working out. Even though I would never in a million years eat some of the things she does, she still motivates me like nothing else does! She is so cute and I just love how positive and joyful she is! This year I plan to eat more greens and just overall eat healthier food and I plan to workout more than I did in 2016.

2. Grow Individually: 2016 was a huge year of growth for me in the way that I became so much more independent. I wrote all about how I grew this year in my Thank You 2016 post and you guys can head there next to read more about it but I overcame my anxiety and I put myself out of my comfort zone and grew tremendously because of it. I want to continue that growth in 2017. I want to become more independent, more outgoing, and continue to put myself outside of my comfort zone. I plan to continue to do and go places by myself and just learn more about who I am without anyone else around. I am a very dependent person and I depend on my set of friends, or my few places I always go, or my comfort zone and this year I want to break out of that even more so.

3. Become More Consistent: This year, especially with my blog reopening, I desire to become more organized and consistent with how much I am posting and when I am posting. The way that I plan to become more organized, is to write every goal out. I am going to keep a journal in my bag and when I come up with a goal or an idea, I am going to write it out and do my best to make those ideas come to life. It is also a goal of mine to write more blog posts that are under the surface, topics that we all go through in our life and hopefully this blog can be a place where people come together and help each other through life's situations!


I hope that with this new year we can all come together and support, encourage and build each other up in whatever way each of us needs.
