My Current Favorites

Procrastination took over this post for sure. What was supposed to be a March Favorites post turned into My Current Favorites because I waited to long but hey, either way a post is going out so it is positive in my eyes. I wanted to get my favorites out on my blog so you guys can know what I have been loving! I have been trying a few things that I think you guys will really like so enough rambling, lets get into it.

Beauty

e.l.f. Under Eye Setting Powder: I have really been loving this setting powder, a lot. A while ago I noticed that whenever I put concealer on, that it would look good for the first couple hours of my day but it would quickly set into the creases of my eyes and it made me look really tired. I have since then been using the e.l.f. Under Eye Setting Powder and I have seen a huge difference. My concealer stays in place a lot longer and just looks a lot nicer overall.

e.l.f. High Definition Powder: This high definition powder has been a fav of mine for a little bit now. I mainly put it in the areas that I put my concealer: under my eyes, my T zone, the bridge of my nose, and on my chin because I want my concealer to really stay put throughout the day. I love the they way this product leaves my skin feeling matte and smooth.

e.l.f. Acne Fighting Foundation: I recently did a review on this product that you can see here and yes, I am still loving this foundation. This Acne Fighting Foundation is the bees knees! I really love the fact that it has really great ingredients including Tee Tree Oil which is good for your acne. What I REALLY love about this foundation is that it has amazing coverage! I have never tried a foundation that covers the redness of my spots the way that this foundation does. I will be repurchasing this foundation very soon.

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer: I tried the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer sampler at Sephora (because the full size is so expensive) and I quickly fell in love with it! I like the thickness of the concealer and it really does the job! It did not move all day long and it gave my skin a nice highlighted look. I think I'm going to have to go back and purchase the full size because it is just that good! I highly recommend this concealer.

NYX Dark Circle Concealer: The NYX Dark Circle Concealer  has been great! I have a little bit of darkness in the corners of my eyes and when I put this on first and then proceed with my normal concealer it really covers up those dark areas. This product is well priced and does a great job!

Yes To Tomatoes Acne Clearing Facial Toner: I always stop and look at the "Yes To" products (because they look so intriguing) and I finally decided to try a few things out. This facial toner is part of their Yes To Tomatoes selection and it helps in clearing your acne but I just love the refreshing feeling of wiping a bit over my face after washing my makeup off at night. I have seen an improvement in my skin but I have been trying a lot of other products for my acne as well so I cannot 100% say that this product is doing what it claims to do but my face is still clearing up either way so praise God for that!

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara: At first I really didn't like this mascara because it made my lashes really clumpy and if you know me then you know that I like my lashes to look spread out and wispy. For the first couple of weeks I had to go over my lashes a second time with a lash wand that didn't have any product on it to spread out my lashes, not fun. (I am doing a really good job of convincing you that this product is one of my favs, huh?) However, after a while I fell in love with this mascara! Now it spreads out my eyelashes the way that I like and it really does a great job of lengthening my lashes. Yes, I promise I love this mascara!

Blogs
There are a few blogs that I have been loving lately one of them being Paula from Thirteen Thoughts. I love her blog and she always has the most useful tips there, not to mention she is so beautiful and kind.

Another being one of my really good friends Bethany over at BethanyPaige.com. Bethany is an amazing photographer who lives here in Vegas and she takes the most beautiful pictures ever! She took my senior photos and I am still loving them as much as I did the first time seeing them. I love reading her posts because she has the most fun personality that really comes across in her writing. Go check her out!

I recently was nominated for the Liebster Awards which you can read all about what that is over on my last post and I was able to nominate a lot of really awesome bloggers. One in particular I have really been loving lately is Trinity from Captured Everyday and this blog has been a constant read for me for the past few weeks.

Instagram
I have been obsessed with a few Instagram accounts lately and these accounts inspire me so much!

Anna: I have recently teamed up with Anna on my last giveaway post to give away one of her beautiful water color paintings. I love Anna and her sweet heart, she is just so kind and her Instagram is beautiful! Make sure to give Anna a follow.

Lindsey and Lauren: Lindsey and Lauren are the founders of Wild Hearts Wknd and their Instagram is flawless and their blog is so wonderful... I just did a major stalk of their blog and I'm in love, add it to my favorite blogs list!

Food
If there is one thing in this world that is my all time favorite, it is food. Recently there are 2 things that I have been loving a little bit extra.

Strawberries and Nutella: I recently tried this when I was trying to have a little bit of a healthier dessert (compared to chocolate ice cream it's healthier... I think) but it is so good and I'm obsessed! I think we have gone through 4 boxes of strawberries in the past week and a half and soon enough I will turn into one, OH HOW CUTE I WILL BE!

So Delicious Coconut Milk Coffee Creamer: So recently I changed my coffee over to organic coffee and I decided to change my creamer to something that is a little bit healthier. The Coconut Milk Creamer is so good! It taste even better then Coffee Mate vanilla creamer, in my opinion. It has changed my life and is seriously so delicious (no pun intended).

Well there you go peeps, there is everything that I have been loving lately. If you guys have been using something that you have been loving let me know in the comments. Im always looking for new things to try.

XO
Sam

  1. I have the NARS concealer, but I feel like it doesn't give me the coverage I want for my dark circles. I also read Paula's blog everyday, I love how she tries to be relatable because I have anxiety too. Oh yeah, by the way I tagged you for the beauty tag and I would love it if you answered the questions for your blog!
