Is it shocking to anyone else that there are only a few more days of 2015?  This year, just like every other, has flown by.  This year has been pretty wonderful to me and has given me some pretty amazing memories and I wanted to include you in on this adventure!

In the beginning of the year I was fortunate enough to attend a semester at Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta California.  This experience was a growing one for sure! It was my first time living away from home and I found that it was a lot harder than I could have imagined it to be.  For about the first month I was very homesick but once I started to get closer to the people at school that feeling started to dwindle away, slowly I might add.  Basically, I was homesick the whole time but I learned how to deal with it while I was there.  I also learned that sometimes you have to push yourself out of your comfort zone and that doesn't come easy for a lot of people.  At CCBC I met some amazing people that I know I will remember forever if you would like to read up on some of my experiences at school you can Click Here to do so.  Here is one of the amazing sites my talented friend Lacey captured on our way to school.

Brown Paper Packages Tied Up With String

It is relieving yet sad to say that I am just about done with all of my Christmas shopping.  Every year I look forward to going to the shops and picking out or making that perfect gift for everyone on my list.  I think gift getting is definitely one of my love languages!
Yesterday I went shopping for three white elephant gifts and I had a great friend to do it with! Isn't that just the best?! Shopping with a friend is probably one of my favorite things to do!

It is finally that time when you see all the Christmas lights going up in neighborhoods, you hear Christmas music everywhere you go, and when the trees begin to go up!  Like most people, Christmas is my favorite time of year but it's not just Christmas day that I love, it's the leading up to that excites me just as much as the day itself does.  Decorating the tree is one of my favorite parts about Christmas.  There is just something about putting on a Christmas movie or music while putting up the tree that gets me in the true Christmas mood!

Sometimes buying a Christmas gift for someone you are so close to can be harder than you ever thought.  Every single year I have the same dilemma of not knowing what the heck I am getting for my peeps!  I have been in a store for hours trying to find that perfect gift for my best friend (or pretty much all of my friends) thinking that she is not going to like this, this isn't sentimental enough, this is too sentimental, Ive bought her a mug for like 5 years, and so on and so forth.  To help you and I prepare this year I thought I would put together a guide to help us!

My best friend and I can be opposite when it comes to gifts which is why it is so hard for me to shop for her.  I like sentimental gifts, candles, journals and endless amounts of coffee mugs, Rachel (my bestie) on the other hand would probably be happy with a gift card to Gap but that isn't much fun is it?! Somehow I have always managed to pull off a good Christmas gift for her.  Well lets get in to it shall we?

Chicago was one of the best trips I have been on by far! For starters it is an amazing city and the fact that I got to experience it with all of my friends was just the cherry on top!
Every summer my young adults group, Doulos goes on a missions trip and it has been laid on the heart of our leader to target the major cities in the United States.  This summer, it was beautiful Chicago! What is so cool about Chicago is that around every corner, you feel like you are in a completely new and different part of the City.  There is Wrigleyville which is crazy because there are so many games going on, then you walk down a block and you have the more hipster stores and eateries and everybody is all about the new thing, you walk down a block in the opposite direction and it is more of a family area with more laid back restaurants.  There are so many different people groups in all the little areas of Chicago also and it is really awesome to see so many sides of one city!

This was a day for a spontaneous adventure! Pack a lunch you drive up to the mountains with your mom and pup and you have lunch staring at the beautiful picture that God created for you to enjoy.
Living in Vegas isn't as bad as some may think it is.  We have the beautiful mountains right in our back yards, a lake 45 minutes away and we have The City right down the street.  We are also 4 hours away from California to get our sunbathing on, about 5 hours away from the grand canyon, and 5 hours from the snowy mountains of Utah.  If you think about it, we have it all it just takes a little bit of traveling to get there but the journey is half the fun!
With the weather turning cooler (finally) it is prime time for Las Vegas.  Perfect time to go for a hike or have a picnic in the mountains and that is just what I did.

For those of you who still live in the household of your parents, do you ever feel like you want your own apartment only for decorating purposes? Im sure most of us answered YES!
I have an amazing relationship with my parents and I love living at home but sometimes (mostly when I'm on Pinterest) I get so inspired to just decorate a house.  I think I have always had an interest in Interior Design and when I'm on Pinterest I see so many beautiful homes and it makes me want to get an apartment and design it how I see it in these pictures.

Since I have been in my recent home that we have been living in for 10 years, I have re-decorated my room 4 times.  My room was first Spongebob when I was about 9 years old (I was weirdly obsessed), then it was orange and turquoise, then purple and zebra, and now it is grey.  Guess what? I want to do it again!  Most people would Paint their rooms once maybe twice and be content with what they have chosen.  I on the other hand change what I like every couple of months.

I have been seeing white walls, tapestries, more modern and rustic rooms, wood flooring, and copper accessories and I want it! That explains part of my Christmas List (Last Post).  If you like these things too go to Target now.  Target has the cutest decorations for homes right now!
Well enough of my rambling! Here are some of the photos that have been inspiring me lately

Happy Fall Y'all! I have been coming across a lot of fall pictures that are just getting me so excited for the season.  Being that I live in Las Vegas I don't really know what Fall is... sad I know! I have always wanted to go somewhere on the East coast during the Fall, or somewhere where I'll actually see other colors then brown.
Since the moment I was thinking about going to school in Seattle I have been looking at pictures of the beautiful scenery that is there, and my heart has been longing for that type of Fall. I think it is safe to say that the next trip I plan most definitely needs to be to Seattle, but luckily that's where we are going for our next Missions Trip!

Here are the pictures that have been giving me the Fall Feels I hope I pass it on to you!

Is anyone else already thinking about their Christmas list?  I know I am and everything else that is in between.  Now that Fall is here (even though it is still stinkin 90 degrees in Vegas!!!) it has gotten me so excited about the Holidays! I find my mind drifting to carving pumpkins, drinking warm pumpkin spiced lattés, eating a whole lot of sweets, Thanksgiving meal, chilled nights, and of course my Christmas list!  Here is what my list looks like so far.

Hello my Lovelies!

Life in Vegas has been pretty crazy but, not the kind of crazy that everyone is used to when they hear the word "Vegas".  Since being home from school I have come to really appreciate my home with the beautiful mountains we have, our sunsets, and I have even come to appreciate the Las Vegas Strip (in a certain light!)

Happy Tuesday guys! I hope everyone is having a good week so far!  I have been meaning to post this blog for about a week and a half now, but you guys know how the time just gets away from you, right?!

Last Wednesday I went with a big group of my friends to LA to go see the Johnnyswim concert.  Now if you don't know who Johnnyswim is you are truly missin' out and you need to go listen to them right now!
Johnnyswim is the band name of the most beautiful couple ever!!  Their names are Abner and Amanda and they are a married Christian couple who write love songs, breakup songs and just flat out amazing songs!  In their lyrics they have hidden godly messages that to some people they might just think that they are inspiring words but for us Christians, we know the greater meaning!

Here are a few pictures from the night!

What a great weekend off! I had so much fun with all the events that the weekend was filled with.
Friday night I went to my friend Annie's wedding at our church and she made it look so beautiful with all her flowers and wedding decorations! She was such a beautiful bride!  At the reception we all laughed and danced the night away!  It was the most fun I have ever had at a wedding! Good job Ann!!
I spent saturday laying by the pool with friends and BBQ-ing it up!  I always enjoy the days that I have off especially when it is spent tanning and with my friends!

And now,  some pictures from the weekend!

Okay you guys we are back at it! It is time to get back in the groove of things, which means... consistent blogging!  I thought to kick things off I would continue Fashion Fridays.

Today my friend James and I went to a coffee shop where our friend works and we did our devo's and homework/blog writing!  James is currently going to school in Virginia and he comes home for a few weeks every summer so we all try to grab a chance at hanging out with him, but it has been so good having him here and now that he is here he can take good pictures of all of us!

Hi guys!  Man is it great to be home!
It has only been a week and half since I've been home, but it seems that I have been here for a whole summer already. It sure has been an eventful time beginning with weddings, to coffee shop hangs to lots of Jesus filled fellowship.

Although, it has been loads of fun to be home I am missing me some CCBC peeps and some Murrieta Hot Springs. Thinking back to when I was still deciding on going to CCBC, I know now that the Lord truly wanted me there and wanted to stretch me in ways that I never thought He would. For example, leaving home. I had some anxiety and doubt before leaving because I was going to be away from home for the first time and forced into making new friends. Being where I am now, I realize that I am beyond blessed to have attended Bible College. He was able to show things about myself that I would have never learned while being in the comfort of my own home. It was a time of healing and shaping.

All in all, I truly loved that chapter in my life and I am very grateful to the Lord for the people He brought into my life. Now, I'm excited for the next chapter to begin. Lord willing, I will be widening my horizons by attending CCBC Seattle. That right folks! The girl that was scared to move 4 hours away from home is planning on moving 17 hours away! No biggie... jk I'm still a little freaked out, but God is good and always faithful! I also may be endeavoring into some missions in France. My only request is that you wonderful viewers of mine will pray for provision and peace in my life.

So I think that's about it. Here are pictures from Laura and Daniel's wedding with my bestie James, Doulos Ladies Bible Study, and my last night with my dear Sam.

School is over guys which means I can blog now!  Blogger was blocked from the schools Wifi (don't ask me why).

These last 2 week has been the most adventurous weeks of my life!
First I went to the Finale of American Idol last Wednesday, after the Finale that night we went to the Urban Lights in Los Angeles, I went to Salvation Mountain on Friday, and after my semester ended my parents and I traveled down to Mission Bay in San Diego for a little two day vacation.  Good news is I have pictures for your viewing.  So sit back and enjoy!

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a good week, it went by pretty fast for me.  I went home last weekend with my friend Lacey and one week has already gone by since then! Only three more weeks till I go home for my birthday!

This week has been good! I didn't have too much homework to do which was pretty nice, but now it is time to buckle down and get stuff done.  As I'm writing this I am at Starbucks with Vail and Lacey and we are doing homework... well they are.  I wanted to post my blog for you guys before I forgot.

It is pretty overcast today and it has been this past week.  The weather in California is pretty weird right now.  Hopefully it passes soon because I want the sun!!  It was great lighting for taking this picture though!

Hello my friends! So I think I have a pretty good idea of what time of the week I can blog.  I just started school last monday so I've been kind of busy with school work and all that fun stuff.  I want to start my fashionista Fridays back up and also blog about my CCBC experience!

So far I've moved into my dorm and I have 5 roommates so 6 of us total... that's crazy right?! I love all of them and even though we all have our separate friend groups they are becoming like my sisters.

The first few days of being here were a lot harder then I expected them to be.  I was very homesick and didn't really have friends yet and I just really wanted to go home in my own bed but I am so happy I stuck it out because I have met some pretty amazing people!

Hi friends!
This weekend I was able to go up to Brian Head Utah with my young adults group for our Winter Retreat.  The whole weekend was full of fun and A LOT of laughter! I laughed so much on this trip and I haven't laughed like that in a long time! The people The Lord has blessed me with are so amazing and encouraging and I am truly blessed by them.

It's the new year! Did this year fly by for anyone else... or just me?
I cannot wait to see what this year holds.  The Lord already knows who I will know and what memories I will have by next year and I am just starting this new chapter not knowing what the future holds but my Savior does!
In just one month I will have my car packed up and I will be on my way to Bible College!  I will know a whole new group of people and my life will be completely different from now.
